A WordPress website runs on a content management system: you log in and change texts, photos and pages yourself. That system needs maintenance: updates for WordPress itself, your theme and plugins.
A custom-built website (with us: fast, clean HTML) has no management system. Nothing can go stale or get hacked through plugins, it loads faster, and changes are handled by your web builder. You send the change, we put it live.
When is WordPress the right choice?
Choose WordPress if you regularly update content yourself: a weekly blog, a menu that changes often, an events calendar. Then the management system earns itself back, despite the higher price and the maintenance it needs to stay safe and fast.
When is custom smarter?
Choose custom if your website is mainly a professional business card that should bring in customers: your services, your story, your contact details and an occasional change. Most small-business websites change a few times a year at most. Then WordPress means paying for a system you rarely use, while custom loads faster, is safer and cheaper to maintain.
